Social Marketing Campaign
This behavioral marketing campaign plan, entitled, "Be Yourself AU," was created as part of a graduate-level Social Marketing course at American University in the Spring of 2014.

The campaign's purpose is to address the problem of un-prescribed study drug use at AU due to academic, professional, and/or social pressures. The focus of the campaign is to encourage students to feel confident and find success without the use of study drugs, promote healthy and safe coping skills, and encourage each student to embrace their individuality. The plan outlines an applicable behavioral theory, market research, objectives, implementation strategy and evaluation tactics.
Public Relations Case Study:
Strategic PR Plan for AU Dining
In the fall of 2013, AU Dining was in need of a new public relations plan. A new dining company had just taken over the program at American University, and the executives did not understand why so many people disliked the dining program at AU. They wanted to find ways for people to be excited about their dining experience, and hopefully, maintain their meal plans all four years of their undergraduate experience.
AU Dining approached my Public Relations Case Studies class seeking help to develop a new plan. Each student created a strategic plan for AU Dining. Attached is my strategic plan assignment based on the idea that AU Dining creates a sense of community, togetherness and tradition on campus. This assignment was submitted to our client, and the result was an event that combined the ideas of many students.

Op-Ed
As part of a Community-Based Learning course at American University, my colleagues and I dedicated our final semester of study to the Yellow Ribbon Fund, Inc., a nonprofit that helps injured soldiers and their caregivers during their difficult recovery and rehabilitation process. Within the four-month class, we completely redesigned the organization’s communications approach, provided ideas for further development, and pitched and landed placements in print, broadcast and online news outlets on behalf of the organization.
The following is an op-ed personally written and distributed on behalf of the American University PR Portfolio Class, entitled "Eighteen Minutes."
